Effective Jan 1, 2013 the witness fee required to be tendered with service of a subpoena to a  qualifying witness under GC§68097.2 had increased from $150.00 to $275.00 per day.

This includes qualifying government employees such as CHP, Police, Fire, and certain County employees.

The old fee of $150.00 was established in 1986 and of course costs and salaries have increased since then.

Please notify your staff of these changes.

Why use Run With it? Run With It chooses to certify Process Servers, and to follow the law/statutes as it pertains. Run With It has attended and certified Process Servers in the CALSPro Certification Process.

Here’s more about the C.C.P.S. …

The CALSPro Certified Process Server (CCPS) designation was established to acknowledge those process servers who have extended their professional education and successfully passed the CALSPro process server certification examination. The CCPS examination is administered by the CALSPro Continuing Education Committee and consists of a series of questions relating to the law. The CCPS Exam is traditionally preceded by a workshop and the workshop and exam are offered throughout the year, throughout the state. The CCPS designation is valid for a two-year term, then a certification is required again.

MODESTO — Ever-dwindling hours for processing paperwork at Stanislaus County Superior Court are about to shrink again.

Starting Feb. 8, court clerk windows will close at noon on Fridays instead of at 3 p.m. Hours Monday through Thursday will remain the same,8 a.m. to 3 p.m. with no service from noon to 1 p.m. The court’s website blames “ongoing and anticipated reductions in the court’s budget.” Telephones won’t be answered when windows are closed.

Last month the California Association of Legal Support Professionals (CALSPro) concluded yet another successful annual conference.  Run With It was one of many attendees from across the country that were present in Anaheim

These types of events and conferences are an example of some of the many ways that Run With It keeps their staff educated, and their business up to date on laws and new business practice.
